Hey everyone… I decided I didn’t like the mix/lack of complexity in the first version of Workaround, so I’ve remixed it and added some stuff… My heart wasn’t in it the first time (I just wanted to finish something)… I like it a whole lot better now… take a listen again:

We recorded this one on the same day we did People Say, but I was lazy and uninspired. Here it is now.

So lately I’ve been searching around for some good music to listen to and found the site of Catbird Records. I haven’t plugged stuff that wasn’t my own here before, but it seems like a good idea. I liked pretty much every song I downloaded from here. All their releases seem really solid and totally my kind of thing. I had already been into Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin (especially the album Broom), so it makes a lot of sense. If you like my stuff, I think you’d probably like much of what Catbird has to offer.

Something I should’ve done a long time ago: I added ID3 tags to all the songs on this site, as well as artwork, so your iTunes or whatever should be able to import the artwork, song titles, album/EP titles, year, track order, etc now from the MP3s. Bad news: if you’ve already got all the MP3s, you’ll have to download them again to get the latest fancy versions, if that is important to you.

Instead of using iTunes to do it (which I have tried in the past, only to find my tagging didn’t stick, or I was doing something wrong), I found this little free tool that was clean, simple and quick, and I’ll be using it to do the tags from now on: the Stamp ID3 Tag Editor.
